Berry Trifle With White Chocolate Cream

If you are wanting a beautiful and elegant dessert for the holidays, this is it! It is so simple but it will look like you spent a lot of time making it. The best part is that it is delicous and decadent, as well!
Ingredients
1 pt. blueberries
1 1/2 qt. strawberries (raspberries could be used as well)
2 1/2 T. granulated sugar
1 T. lemon juice or 1 t. almond extract
2.6 oz. box whipped topping mix (like Dream Whip- contains 2 pkg.- use both)
2 (3.4 oz.) boxes white chocolate instant pudding mix
4 c. whole milk or Half & Half
1 white cake, pound cake or angel food cake, cubed (can be store bought)
8 oz. frozen whipped topping, thawed

Clean berries, dry well. Hull and cube strawberries. Sprinkle with 2 T. sugar, lemon juice or almond extract; stir well. Set aside so the strawberries macerate.
Whip together both packages whipped topping mix with 2 c. milk or Half & Half, until stiff peaks form, about 5 minute.] Add both packages white chocolate pudding and remaining milk or Half & Half. Whip 2-3 minutes until thickened.
Divide all ingredients into thirds. Layer in a trifle bowl, starting with the cake, then the white chocolate cream, and berries, reserving a few berries for garnishing.
Frost with thawed whipped topping. Garnish with the reserved berries. Chill well.
