Ingredients

  • 1 lb. potatoes, washed and peeled
  • 1/2 c. real mayonnaise
  • 1 T. milk
  • salt, to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • butter, optional

Steps

  1. Cover potatoes with salted water in 2 quart pot; bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender; drain.
  2. Return potatoes to pot; mash.
  3. Stir in mayonnaise and milk. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
