Ingredients

• cookies:
• 2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 1/3 c. powdered sugar
• 3/4 c. cornstarch
• 1 c. all-purpose flour
• frosting:
• 2 T. unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 1 c. powdered sugar
• 1 t. vanilla extract
• cream or milk, to thin
• grated chocolate, for garnish

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Blend together the soft butter, sugar, cornstarch and flour until well incorporated. Cover with plastic wrap; chill for at least 1 hour.
3. Using a small spoon or a scoop, form small heaps or balls of dough; place on an ungreased, cookie sheet. Use parchment paper if desired.
