Broccoli lovers will love this yummy side dish. It's made with broccoli, Asiago cheese and garnished with toasted almonds, then seasoned with salt, pepper, lemon zest and lemon juice.
Ingredients
- I head of broccoli, cut into 1 1/2 inch florets with stems peeled and sliced
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 1/2 c. shredded Asiago cheese
- 1/2 t. sugar
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- zest and juice from 1 lemon
- 1/4 c. toasted pine nuts
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- In a large bowl, toss broccoli, olive oil, Asiago cheese, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Place on a baking sheet pan in an even layer. Roast 20-30 minutes, tossing halfway.
