Description
This is an easy meal to prepare for a weeknight dinner. In less than an hour, you will have a warm, satisfying and comforting dish that your family will beg you to make again. Serve it with a salad and garlic bread.
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 c. spaghetti sauce, your favorite store-bought or homemade
- 25 oz. package frozen cheese ravioli, cooked and drained
- 16 oz. cottage cheese (or Ricotta cheese)
- Italian spices, to taste
- garlic powder, to taste
- salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 16 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2-3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spread 1/2 c. spaghetti sauce in an ungreased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Layer with half of the ravioli, 1 1/4 c. sauce, 1 c. cottage cheese and 2 c. Mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers. Sprinkle with Italian spices, garlic powder, salt and pepper and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake, uncovered 30-40 minutes or until bubbly. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.
