Description

Make a delicious, meatless meal with the salmon burgers. They are so quick and easy to make. They are healthy and a great source of calcium and Omega-3 fatty acids.

Ingredients

  • 14.75 oz. can Chicken of the Sea Traditional Style Red Salmon
  • 1 c. seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 2 t. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 T. freshly chopped parsley
  • 1/4 t. garlic salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 T. mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1-2 T. vegetable oil
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • favorite toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion slices, etc.

Steps

  1. Drain and flake salmon.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, mayonnaise, egg, lemon juice, parsley and garlic salt; blend well.
  3. Shape into 8 burgers. Salmon mixture will be moist.
