Make these delicious red velvet truffles for your sweetie, your family or friends. Decorate them with dark chocolate, white chocolate that has been dyed red or with red sprinkles!

Ingredients

• 1 box red velvet cake mix + ingredients listed on the box to prepare the cake
• 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
• 16 oz. white chocolate
• 2 oz. dark or semi-sweet chocolate

Steps

1. Prepare the 9 x 13 inch cake according to package instructions; cool completely; crumble the cake in a large bowl.
2. Add softened cream cheese; knead gently with fingers until cream cheese is fully incorporated.
3. Roll about 1 heaping T. of mixture into balls; place balls on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper. Chill in the refrigerator.
