Description
Make these delicious red velvet truffles for your sweetie, your family or friends. Decorate them with dark chocolate, white chocolate that has been dyed red or with red sprinkles!
Ingredients
- 1 box red velvet cake mix + ingredients listed on the box to prepare the cake
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 16 oz. white chocolate
- 2 oz. dark or semi-sweet chocolate
Steps
- Prepare the 9 x 13 inch cake according to package instructions; cool completely; crumble the cake in a large bowl.
- Add softened cream cheese; knead gently with fingers until cream cheese is fully incorporated.
- Roll about 1 heaping T. of mixture into balls; place balls on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper. Chill in the refrigerator.
