You don't need to be a coffee drinker to enjoy this coffee cake. It is equally good with milk or no beverage at all. Serve it for breakfast, dessert or as a snack.

Ingredients

• Cake:
• 1 stick butter, softened
• 1/2 c. brown sugar
• 1/4 c. white sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/4 c. vegetable oil
• 1/2 T. vanilla
• 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
• 1/2 t. baking soda
• 1/2 t. baking powder
• 1/4 t. salt
• 1 t. cinnamon
• 1 1/2 c. chopped apples, chopped small
• Cream Cheese:
• 8 oz. softened cream cheese
• 1 t. vanilla
• 3 T. white sugar
• Streusel:
• 3/4 c. white sugar
• 1/4 c. brown sugar
• 1/2 c. flour
• 1 t. cinnamon
• 1/2 t. baking powder
• 1/8 t. salt
• 6 T. butter, cold

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8 x 8 inch square pan.
