12 slices bacon
1/2 t. salt
1/8 t. freshly ground black pepper
1/8 t. smoked paprika
2 T. chopped fresh parsley
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Set a wire rack into a small baking dish. Soak wooden toothpicks in a bowl of water for 15 minutes.
Wrap each oyster with a slice of bacon; secure with a toothpick. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, paprika, and parsley; set onto wire rack.
Bake until the bacon is crispy, 10 - 12 minutes.
Serve immediately. They are best eaten right away because they aren't as good when they get cold.
