Description

Make lemonade, but don't just make ordinary lemonade. Make it a strawberry lemonade like Red Robin's Strawberry Freckled Lemonade.

Ingredients

• zest of 1 lemon, in wide strips
• lemon slices
• 2 c. sugar, divided
• 1 1/2 c. water
• 2 c. washed, chopped, hulled strawberries
• 2 c. freshly squeezed lemon juice from about 10 large lemons
• 1/4 t. salt
• 2 c. cold water
