In need of a great vegetable side dish? Look no further than this recipe. Green beans and bacon and a few other ingredients make a delicious veggie dish that you will put in your recipe box.
5 -15 oz. cans green beans, drained (or 4 -12 oz. bags frozen green beans, thawed, or like amount fresh green beans)
12 slices bacon, cooked and cut into pieces
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter, melted
7 t. soy sauce
1 1/2 t. garlic powder
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Put drained beans in a 9 x13 baking dish. Add the cooked bacon pieces.
In a bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Pour over beans; stir; bake 40 minutes.
Toss and serve.
