You will have a huge hit on your hands when you serve these flavorful biscuits. After you eat one, you will crave more, so be sure to make enough for everyone to have seconds.
2 c. all-purpose flour
4 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1/4 c. chopped fresh chives
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. honey
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease a cookie sheet.
In a mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, salt and chives.
Warm honey 20 seconds in the microwave.
In a separate mixing bowl, stir together milk, mayonnaise and warmed honey.
Mix wet ingredients with dry ingredients until just coming together. Roll out onto a floured work surface to ¾ inch thick. Cut into rounds with a biscuit cutter; place on prepared cookie sheet.
Bake 10 - 12 minutes, until golden brown.
Makes 12 biscuits.
