Dump and Bake Meatball Casserole

Description

This pasta dish is super easy to make, you don't even have to cook the pasta first. Just dump the ingredients in a baking dish, stir and bake. That's it. And to make it even better, clean up is a breeze!

Ingredients

16 oz. rotini pasta, uncooked
25 oz. marinara sauce, your favorite
3 c. water
14 oz. package fully-cooked miniature,cocktail-size meatballs, thawed if frozen
2 c. shredded Mozzarella or Italian blend cheese
salt and pepper, to taste
garlic powder, to taste

Parmesan cheese, freshly chopped herbs like basil, oregano, and parsley, for garnish, if desired

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

In a large baking dish, stir together uncooked pasta, marinara sauce, water, salt, pepper, garlic powder and meatballs. Cover tightly with aluminum foil; bake 35-40 minutes.

Uncover; stir. Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese over the top. Bake uncovered 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and pasta is tender.

4-6 servings.
