Seven Layer Mexican Dip

Description

Enjoy seven layers of yummy goodness with this delicious dip. Serve with your favorite tortilla or corn chips.

Ingredients

16 oz. can refried beans
1.25 oz. package taco seasoning mix
1 1/2 c. guacamole
1/2 c. diced tomato
1 c. sour cream
2 T. chopped fresh cilantro
1 T. freshly squeezed lime juice
1 c. salsa
1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
4 oz. can sliced black olives, drained
1 c. sliced green onion, green tops only

corn or tortilla chips, for dipping

Wash tomatoes, green onions and fresh cilantro; slice and dice as directed.

Combine refried beans with taco seasoning; blend well; set aside.

Mix sour cream with lime juice and cilantro; set aside.

In a 10 inch pie plate or 9 × 9 baking dish, spread refried beans; top with sour cream mixture, guacamole, tomato, salsa, shredded cheeses, sliced olives and green onion.

Cover tightly with plastic wrap; store in the refrigerator until serving time, or serve immediately with corn or tortilla chips.
