Mississippi Mud Pie

Description

This no bake dessert originated is the state of Mississippi. It is super easy to make and has great flavor. It is usually served with ice cream.

Ingredients

2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1⁄4 c. sugar
1⁄2 c. butter or 1⁄2 c. margarine, melted
8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
3⁄4 c. sugar
12 oz. non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
3 1/2 oz. package instant chocolate pudding mix
3 1/2 oz. package instant butterscotch pudding mix
3 c. milk

Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar and butter. Press firmly onto the bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie plate.

Blend together the cream cheese and sugar; mix well. Fold in half of the non-dairy whipped topping.

Spread the mixture onto the crust.

Whisk together the pudding mixes and milk; mix well. Refrigerate pudding mixture until thickened.

Spread pudding mixture on top of the cream cheese mixture. Top with the remaining non-dairy whipped topping.

Garnish with shaved chocolate, chocolate chips, nuts or both.

6-8 servings.
