Description

Make this wonderful bacon and serve it alone, on hamburgers, bacon sandwiches, on steak, on baked potatoes, or anywhere you normally serve bacon.

Ingredients

• 4 large tomatoes
• 1 T. oil, plus more for brushing grill
• 1/4 c. minced red onion
• 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
• 1/4 c. light brown sugar, packed
• 1/4 c. balsamic vinegar
• 2 T. Worcestershire sauce
• 1 t. kosher salt
• 3/4 - 1 t. freshly ground black pepper
• 2 T. prepared horseradish
• 1 lb. 1/4-inch-thick slices slab bacon
