Fill refrigerated crescent rolls with cream cheese, a little butter, bits of olives and make a wonderful appetizer or rolls to enjoy with a meal.
8 oz. softened cream cheese
3 T. butter, melted
salt, to taste
green or Kalamata pitted olives, cut into small pieces
2 - 9 oz. tubes crescent rolls
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Combine the cream cheese, melted butter, salt, and olive pieces; stir. Set aside.
Unroll crescent dough into triangles; evenly divide the cream cheese mixture between each triangle and place on the widest end, then roll up starting at the widest end towards the point.
Place on greased baking sheet and bake about 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown.
