Description
This delicious casserole can be served for breakfast or dinner. Just put all of the ingredients in the slow cooker and in 2 to 3 hours, you will have a wonderful meal.
Ingredients
- 32 oz. bag frozen hash browns, thawed
- 15 oz. can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 16 oz. smoked sausage or chorizo, diced or 13 oz. pkg. OSCAR MAYER Selects Uncured Smoked Italian Style Sausage, cut into 1/4 inch-thick slices
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
- Kosher salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- green onions, chopped, for garnish
Steps
- Place a slow cooker liner in the base of the slow cooker for easy clean up.
- Place thawed hash browns, diced sausage and onion in the slow cooker. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese on the top, then cover with condensed soup.
- Cover; cook on High for 2-3 hours, or until hash browns and onions are tender.
