Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray.

Place one layer of bread cubes in the bottom of the prepared dish.

Cut up the apple pie filling into smaller chunks while still in the can. Spoon the filling onto the bread layer, evenly spreading out the apples. Top apples with another layer of bread cubes and pack tightly.

In a bowl, add eggs, cream, apple cider, caramel, vanilla, and cinnamon; whisk until well combined.

Pour mixture over the bread; cover with aluminum foil; let chill for at least 2 hours or overnight.

When ready to bake, remove bread from the refrigerator and let rest on the counter while preheating the oven. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix together melted butter, brown sugar, and granola/oats; evenly spread over the top of the bread.

Bake 40-50 minutes, or until bread is fully toasted and eggs are set.

Serve warm with ice cream or whipped topped with cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar, if desired.
