Whether you make these delicious brats for lunch, dinner or for a great get-together, you will get rave reviews. Place cheese slices and mustard with pre-cooked brats, roll them up in crescent rolls and bake. It's that easy. Serve with a side of sauerkrau
Ingredients
- 4 fresh bratwurst, your favorite
- 2 cans beer, your favorite
- 1 package/can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 2 - 4 T. whole or spicy coarse-grained mustard
- 4 oz. smoked Cheddar cheese, sliced
- 1 c. sauerkraut, warmed and well drained on paper towels
Steps
- Place bratwursts in a medium pot; pour in beer; bring to a simmer. Simmer 10 minutes over medium heat; cover; remove from heat; let sit 5 minutes to continue cooking through.
- Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Roll out crescent rolls on parchment paper; spread mustard on each crescent roll.
