Description
No more dry pork chops! These crock pot pork chops with a peach sauce come out very tender and succulent. They will make mouth water while cooking. This would also be good with pork tenderloin, pork steaks, or even chicken.
Ingredients
- 2 bone-in center or boneless cut pork loin chops, about 1 1/2 lb.
- 2 T. olive oil
- 1 small Vidalia onion, peeled and chopped
- 1 large shallot, peeled and minced
- 3 garlic cloves, smashed
- 2 ripe peaches, peeled and chopped
- dash of water
- Sauce:
- 1/4 c. apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 c. bourbon
- 1 T. dark brown sugar
- 1 T. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 T. honey
- 1 t. Dijon mustard
- freshly squeezed juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 t. salt
- 1 t. freshly ground black pepper
- freshly chopped parsley, for garnish
Steps
- Season both sides of chops with salt and pepper.
- Line a crock pot with a crock pot liner for easy clean up.
- Coat skillet bottom with oil; heat on medium-high heat until hot but not smoking. Brown chops on both sides;place in the crock pot.
