Description
If you are needing a quick and easy meatless meal, this one is the perfect choice. It can be on your table in less than 30 minutes to satisfy those hunger pains. Serve with a salad and a crusty bread.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. pasta, penne, rigatoni, ziti or your choice
- 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 T.. olive oil
- 1/2 c. Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 c. Asiago cheese
- 1 c. Ricotta cheese
- 1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan
- 2 c. half & half
- salt and pepper, to taste
Steps
- Cook pasta in well salted boiling water until al dente; drain; set aside, keeping warm.
- In a heavy bottomed saucepan, sauté garlic in olive oil until tender. Pour in half & half; bring to a simmer. Add cheeses, stirring constantly.
- Pour hot cheese sauce over warm pasta; stir thoroughly. Season with salt and white pepper. to taste.
