It pumpkin season and if you are looking for a great fall dessert, then try this amazing cake. It is spiced just right and is so easy to make.
15.5 oz. can solid pack pumpkin
12 oz. can evaporated milk
3 large eggs
1½ c. sugar
1 T. pumpkin pie spice
½ t. salt
1 package yellow cake mix
1 c. butter or margarine, melted
1 c. chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 13 x 9 inch pan.
Combine pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, pumpkin pie spice and salt in large bowl; stir until well blended.
Pour pumpkin mixture into the prepared pan; sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over pumpkin mixture; drizzle with butter.
Bake 25 minutes; remove from oven; sprinkle with chopped pecans. Tightly cover with aluminum foil; bake an additional 25 minutes.
Remove from oven; cool completely.
Cut into squares to serve.
16-20 servings.
