If you' re wanting spaghetti & meatballs, but think that you don't have time, think again.This recipe makes it simple. Just add uncooked pasta, frozen meatballs, jarred spaghetti sauce and seasonings to a slow cooker. That's it.
spaghetti pasta, not cooked
frozen meatballs
24 oz. jar spaghetti sauce, your favorite
1 small can tomato paste
1 c. water
1 T. olive oil
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
garlic powder, to taste
1 t. oregano or Italian seasonings
¼ t. crushed red pepper flakes, optional
shredded or grated Parmesan cheese
Line crock of slow cooker with a slow cooker liner for easy clean up.
Break up spaghetti to fit in slow cooker; place in slow cooker. Add tomato sauce; add tomato paste; add water; add olive oil; season to taste; carefully stir; add frozen meatballs and nestle them in the sauce.
Cook on High for 2-3 hrs or Low 4-6 hours. If using thicker pasta, you may need to cook it longer.
Sprinkle cheese on top; cook 10 minutes, or until cheese melts.
Serve.
