If you' re wanting spaghetti & meatballs, but think that you don't have time, think again.This recipe makes it simple. Just add uncooked pasta, frozen meatballs, jarred spaghetti sauce and seasonings to a slow cooker. That's it.
Ingredients
- spaghetti pasta, not cooked
- frozen meatballs
- 24 oz. jar spaghetti sauce, your favorite
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 c. water
- 1 T. olive oil
- salt, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
- garlic powder, to taste
- 1 t. oregano or Italian seasonings
- ¼ t. crushed red pepper flakes, optional
- shredded or grated Parmesan cheese
Steps
- Line crock of slow cooker with a slow cooker liner for easy clean up.
- Break up spaghetti to fit in slow cooker; place in slow cooker. Add tomato sauce; add tomato paste; add water; add olive oil; season to taste; carefully stir; add frozen meatballs and nestle them in the sauce.
- Cook on High for 2-3 hrs or Low 4-6 hours. If using thicker pasta, you may need to cook it longer.
