Description

Make this simple, quick and delicious stuffed pizza braid to your hungry family. Serve it as the main dish or as an appetizer.

8 oz. can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1/3 c. Muir Glen organic Cabernet marinara pasta sauce
1/2 c. shredded cheese (Mozzarella or Cheddar)
pepperoni slices

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie/baking sheet with cooking parchment paper.

Unroll dinner rolls onto lined or un-greased cookie/baking sheet. Pinch seams and perforations together to seal. Using fingers or a rolling pin, press or roll dough to form 14 x 10 inch rectangle.

Spread marinara sauce lengthwise down center of dough; top with shredded cheese and desired number of pepperoni slices.

With pizza cutter, cut dough into strips on both sides of toppings. Fold 1 strip up over toppings; fold 1 strip from opposite side over 1st strip; repeat to form a braided appearance.

Bake 18 - 20 minutes or until light golden brown.

Remove from cookie sheet to a cutting board; cut into 8 slices.

Serve warm.
