Just in time for the holidays! With just 2 ingredients and a little time, you can make these easy peasy special treats, cheaper and better than store bought.

Ingredients

12 oz. bittersweet chocolate, chopped in small pieces
1 c. Spanish peanuts, skins on (other nuts can be used as well)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

For peanuts that are not already roasted:
Spread out peanuts in an even layer on a dry baking sheet; toast 10-15 minutes, or until you begin to smell their aroma; cool. (This step step can be skipped if using already roasted peanuts.)

Line a baking sheet with parchment or waxed paper.

Put chocolate in a small microwave safe bowl; microwave for 1 minute; stir to melt; microwave for an another 30 seconds, if necessary. Allow the heat of the bowl and chocolate help to completely melt while stirring, do not over microwave- or the chocolate will seize up.

When the chocolate is completely smooth, add in peanuts; stir to coat nuts.

Use a tablespoon to make small piles on the prepared baking sheet; allow to sit until set at room temperature, or place in the refrigerator for a quicker setting. Place in little paper liner candy cups.
