Anyone you serve this dessert to will be in heaven. It is a signature dessert at some restaurants like BJ's and now you can make it yourself at home at a fraction of the cost. It's just a big cookie make in a cast iron skillet which is then served with va
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 t. vanilla
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
1/2 c. chocolate chips
Optional: vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place a small oven-safe skillet, cast iron skillet or 8 inch round pan over low heat; melt butter. Add sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and beaten egg; mix well. Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix until well blended. Add in chocolate chips; stir to evenly distribute chips.
Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool 10 minutes. Cut into slices. If desired, top with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup.
