Ingredients

• 1/2 c. butter
• 1/2 c. sugar
• 1/2 c. brown sugar
• 1 t. vanilla
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 1/2 c. flour
• 1/2 t. baking soda
• 1/4 t. salt
• 1/2 c. chocolate chips
• Optional: vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Place a small oven-safe skillet, cast iron skillet or 8 inch round pan over low heat; melt butter. Add sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and beaten egg; mix well. Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix until well blended. Add in chocolate chips; stir to evenly distribute chips.
3. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
