Description
This patty melt pizza is simple to make, but takes a little bit of time. It's a great meal that everyone will love. Reduce the total time and buy pre-rolled pizza dough, if you wish.
Ingredients
- 15-16 oz. bakery pizza crust dough
- 3/4 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 t. seasoned salt
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 c. steak sauce
- 2 T. butter
- 1 t. caraway seeds
- 1 t. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/3 c. shredded Italian 6-cheese blend
- 1/3 c. Thousand Island dressing
- 7 thin slices reduced-fat sharp Cheddar cheese
- flour, for hands
Steps
- Remove dough from refrigerator; let stand 1 hour (DO NOT remove from bag until stand time completed).
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease a pizza pan if it isn't non-stick.
- Preheat large sauté pan on medium-high for 2–3 minutes.; add ground beef, seasoned salt, and pepper; brown 5–7 minutes, stirring to crumble meat and until no pink remains. Stir steak sauce into meat; remove meat from pan.
