Description
If you are not the traditional green bean casserole lover, try this great side dish instead. The green beans are smothered with butter, soy sauce, brown sugar, bacon and garlic. And it only takes a few minutes to prepare before baking in the oven.
Ingredients
- 5 (15 oz.) cans green beans, drained
- 1 lb. bacon
- 2/3 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1/4 c. low-sodium soy sauce
- 1-1/2 t. garlic powder
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Pour drained green beans in an un-greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
- In a large skillet, cook bacon until almost done, but not too crispy; remove from skillet; drain on paper towels; chop.
