Italian Garlic Knots

Description

These garlic knots are easily made from refrigerated breadsticks. Serve them with your favorite meal or perhaps as an appetizer at your next party.

Ingredients

3 - 4 cloves garlic, chopped or minced
2 T. butter
2 T. olive oil
1 t. chopped fresh basil leaves
1 t. chopped fresh parsley
11 oz. can Pillsbury™ refrigerated original breadsticks
coarse sea salt
freshly ground black pepper

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In small microwavable bowl, microwave garlic, butter and oil on High 30 seconds or until butter is melted. Stir in basil and parsley; set aside.

Unroll dough; separate into 12 breadsticks. Twist and tie each breadstick into a “knot-like” ball; place in an ungreased 9-inch round cake pan.

Spoon or brush the butter-herb mixture evenly over the top of each knot; sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Bake 13 - 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve warm.
