Description

These sprinkle cookies are so good, you will want to add them to your Christmas cookie baking list for the future. They are easy to make up and kids will have fun rolling them in the sprinkles.

Ingredients

• 1 c. butter, at room temperature
• 1¼ c. sugar
• 4 oz. cream cheese
• 1 egg
• 1 t. vanilla extract
• ½ t. almond extract
• 1 t. baking powder
• ¼ t. baking soda
• ½ t. salt
• 3 c. flour
• ⅔ c. colored sprinkles (choose colors for the specific occasion)

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy; add cream cheese, egg and extracts; beat together until mixed, scraping down the sides of the bowl occasionally.
3. Sprinkle salt, baking powder and baking soda over top; stir in. Mix in flour until just combined.
