Add this sweet and salty fudge to your holiday fudge platter. The maple extract with bacon, vanilla frosting and white chocolate are perfect to go together to make the ultimate fudge.
1 container vanilla ready-made frosting
12 oz. bag white chocolate chips
1 T. maple extract
5 slices thick cut bacon, cooked and crumbled
Line an 8 x 8 inch baking pan with aluminum foil, leaving enough to hangover the edge to pull up and out later; set aside.
Place white chocolate chips in a heat proof bowl; set aside.
Place container of frosting in the microwave, heat 20 - 30 seconds until hot and completely melted. When the frosting is melted, pour it over the white chocolate; let the heat from the frosting melt the white chocolate. Stir until all chocolate is melted and smooth. Stir in maple extract and bacon. Pour into foil lined pan.
Place in the refrigerator to set up. Lift fudge out of pan using the overhanging aluminum foil. Cut into one inch squares. Place on a pretty platter. Serve.
Makes 64 one inch pieces.
