Description
If you are short on time but still want a hearty meal, make these yummy French dip sliders. They will quickly become one of your go to recipes.
Ingredients
- 2 T. unsalted butter, softened
- 1 package of 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 1 lb. deli roast beef, rare if possible**
- 1 package of 12 slices Sargento Provolone cheese, separated
- 1 1/2 c. French fried onions, optional
- Seasoning:
- 8 T. unsalted butter
- 1 Au Jus seasoning mix packet, separated
- 1 t. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 T. toasted sesame seeds
- 3/4 t. dried minced garlic
- 1/2 t. onion powder
- 1/2 t. seasoned salt, optional (if you prefer a less salty taste, omit this)
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Butter the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish with the softened unsalted butter.
- Without separating the rolls, slice the package of rolls in half across, horizontally, creating a top layer and a bottom layer.
