Description
Make a fun lunch, dinner, snack or appetizer with these great bacon pizzadillas. It's so versatile, you can use your favorite ingredients and pizza toppings to suit you.
Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon, diced
- 6 eight inch flour tortillas
- 14 oz. pizza sauce
- 2 c. mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 t. dried oregano
- 1 t. garlic powder
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes, optional
- 1 t. or more butter, for the skillet
Steps
- Fry bacon in a large skillet over medium heat, cooking until bacon is crispy; remove to a paper towel lined plate; crumble bacon.
- Discard bacon grease; wipe out the skillet with paper towels.
- Top tortilla with desired amount of pizza sauce, spreading out evenly; top with mozzarella cheese, crumbled bacon, a sprinkling of oregano and garlic powder and a pinch of red pepper flakes, if desired.
