This yummy cake can be served for breakfast, as a snack or as a dessert. It is so easy and so good, you will make it often.

Ingredients

• Cake:
• 18 1/4 oz. box yellow cake mix
• 1 egg
• 1⁄2 c. butter, melted
• Filling:
• 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
• 2 eggs
• 1 t. pure vanilla extract
• 16 oz. box powdered sugar
• 1⁄2 c. butter, melted
• 1 c. chocolate chips

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.
2. In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine cake mix, egg, and butter; mix well. Pat into the bottom of prepared pan; set aside.
3. Using the electric mixer, beat cream cheese until smooth; add eggs and vanilla; add in powdered sugar; beat well. Reduce mixer speed; slowly pour in butter; mix well.
