Description

This cherry dessert is so quick and simple to make, you'll be amazed. It's a yummy, mouth watering dessert that would be perfect year round, like for Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day or other special events.

Ingredients

• 1- 1 1/2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
• 1 c. finely chopped pecans
• 1 c. butter
• 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
• 1 c. powdered sugar
• 16 oz. Cool Whip, divided (more may be needed)
• 2 small boxes instant cheesecake flavored pudding mix
• 3 c. milk
• 1 can cherry pie filling (or favorite)
• ½ c. chopped pecans

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Melt butter.
3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine vanilla wafer crumbs, finely chopped pecans, and melted butter; press into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan; bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven; cool.
