Ingredients
- Greek Meatballs:
- 1 lb. ground lamb or beef
- ½ medium red onion, finely diced (about ½ cup)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- zest of ½ lemon
- 1 T. fresh oregano, chopped or 1 t. dried oregano
- 1 t. ground coriander
- ½ t. ground cumin
- sea salt, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
- Avocado Tzatziki:
- 1 avocado, peeled and pit removed
- 1 small-medium cucumber or ½ large cucumber, cut in half and seeds scraped out with a spoon
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 T. red onion, diced
- freshly squeezed juice of 1 lemon
- 1 T. fresh dill or mint, depending on your preference
- ¼ c. sour cream or Greek yogurt
- sea salt, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine all the meatball ingredients together; form into approximately 1 1/2 to 2 inch balls.Place on a rimmed baking pan/sheet; bake 25 minutes.
