Enjoy this simple Oreo cookie fudge any time of the year. It's prepared with only 3 ingredients and doesn't require a candy thermometer to make. It's packed with sweetened condensed milk, white chocolate chips and Oreo cookies.
14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
18 oz. high quality white chocolate chips (approximately 1 1/2 bags or 3 c.) (HIGHLY recommend Guittard vanilla milk chips because there are no waxes in them.)
3 c. Oreos, roughly chopped (about 20 Oreos)
1/8 t. salt, optional
Prepare an 8 x 8 inch pan with wax or parchment paper placed up the sides of the pan so that the fudge can be pulled out once it has set.
In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the white chocolate chips with the sweetened condensed milk and salt, if using for 4-5 minutes. Stir in the chopped cookies, saving a few pieces to press into the top for garnish.
Pour mixture into the prepared pan, quickly spreading fudge evenly with a spatula. Press extra chopped Oreos on top.
Refrigerate the fudge for at least 4 hours to set.
Pull the whole fudge slab out of the pan using the overhanging edges of the wax/parchment paper. Using a warm, dry knife, cut squares. Serve.
Store at room temperature in an airtight container for 5 - 7 days.
Makes 16 - 32 squares.
