Of course, this is the perfect meal to prepare on chilly or cold days, but it's great comfort food to make anytime of the year, so why wait? It's prepared with 3 different kinds of beans, BBQ and Worcestershire sauces, kielbasa sausage, molasses and bacon
Ingredients
- 2 - 15 oz. cans black beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 - 15.8 oz. cans Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
- 15.25 oz. can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 onion, peeled and diced
- ½ c. BBQ sauce
- ¾ c. ketchup
- 1 T. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 T. mustard
- 1 t. chili powder
- 1 T. apple cider vinegar
- ½ c. maple syrup
- ¼ c. molasses
- 14.5 oz. can chicken stock/broth
- ½ lb. bacon, cooked, cut into bite size pieces
- 2 lb. Kielbasa sausage, cut into bite size pieces
Steps
- Place a slow cooker liner in a large slow cooker for easy clean up.
- Add all ingredients, except for the sausage, to the slow cooker; stir gently to combine; place kielbasa on top; cover.
- Cook on Low 6 - 8 hours or on High 4 - 5 hours.*
