You will make this corn on the cob often because it is so easy and good. It is seasoned with a bit of butter and a few spices and then baked in the oven. That's it!
10 ears of corn, cleaned (you can use frozen )
1 1/2 sticks salted butter, at room temperature
1 T. sea salt
1/2 t. cayenne pepper (optional)
1/4 t. garlic powder
1 1/2 T. freshly ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place ears of corn on baking sheet.
Put butter, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper and garlic powder in a bowl; stir well. Spread half of this butter mixture evenly on ears of corn.
Bake 20 minutes; flip ears of corn over; spread on remaining butter on corn; bake 10-15 minutes or until starting to turn brown, turning corn occasionally to prevent burning.
Serve, seasoned with more salt or butter, if desired.
10 servings.
