Just layer all of the ingredients into a prepared pan, bake and serve this wonderful, delicious and easy dessert. Serve garnished with whipped cream, if desired.
1 box white or yellow cake mix, dry and not prepared
1 can peach pie filling
15 oz. can sliced peaches in light syrup (DON'T drain)
1 stick unsalted butter, cut into pieces
1 c. white chocolate chips
1 c. pecan halves, optional
whipped cream
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan.
Spread pie filling in the prepared pan. Spoon on the peaches; spread on the dry cake mix. Top with butter pieces, white chocolate chips and pecans.
Bake for 60 - 70 minutes.
Serve topped with whipped cream
*You may need to cover with aluminum foil near the end to prevent over-browning.
