Description
You will definitely have a hissy fit if you make this appetizer for your next party and then there is none left for you. It's to die for with pork sausage, cream cheese, sour cream, Velveeta and Muenster cheeses and seasonings. Serve it with your favorit
Ingredients
- 1 lb. bulk pork sausage, like Jimmy Dean
- 16 oz. sour cream
- 8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
- 8 oz. Velveeta cheese, cut into small cubes
- 4 oz. Muenster cheese, grated (or Cheddar cheese)
- 2 T. thinly sliced green onions or minced fresh chives
- 1 t. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 t. onion powder
- ½ t. dried ground sage
- Your favorite dippers, like veggies, tortilla chips, crackers
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9 × 9 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage, crumbling as it cooks, until browned and cooked through. Remove the sausage from the skillet with a slotted spoon; place on a paper towel-lined plate/platter; cool for 5 minutes.
- Add sausage and all remaining ingredients to a medium bowl; stir until well blended. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading into an even layer.
