These crescent bites are super simple to make and are really delicious. Serve them as a snack, a dessert with a scoop of ice cream or maybe even for breakfast.
1 red, tart juicy apple, washed and sliced into 8 slices, with skin
4 T. brown sugar
3 t. cinnamon
1 T. butter. melted
1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a baking sheet.
Roll out crescent rolls on prepared baking sheet.
Brush with melted butter; sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Place an apple slice at the wide end of each crescent roll; roll up with the apples inside the crescent rolls. Brush with more butter on tops; sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool.
Serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
