You can depend on this meal when you get home after a long day to a hungry family. It's simple and quick because it starts with canned chicken and pre-sliced mushrooms. But the best part is that it is truly delicious.
Ingredients
- 16 oz. package fettuccine
- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 c. butter, cubed
- 10 oz. canned chunk white chicken, drained
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Steps
- Cook fettuccine according to package directions, 8-13 minutes.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet; saute mushrooms and garlic for 2-3 minutes or until crisp-tender. Stir in chicken and milk; cook for 5-7 minutes or until heated through.
- Drain fettuccine; add to skillet.
