Need a scrumptious, beautiful dessert that isn't time consuming and doesn't have a ton of ingredients? This Italian inspired Oreo Cannoli Cream Pie is just that and will wind up on the top of your dessert recipe list.
Ingredients
- 8 oz. package of cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 t. vanilla extract
- 8 oz. tub Cool Whip, divided, softened
- 1 c. ricotta
- 3/4 c. powdered sugar
- 3/4 c. mini-chocolate chips
- 9 inch round Oreo crust
- additional mini-chocolate chips, for garnish
Steps
- Beat cream cheese with a whip attachment until smooth. Add half of the Cool Whip; beat until combined. Slowly stir in ricotta and powdered sugar until blended. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread mixture into the Oreo pie crust. Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the top. Garnish with chocolate chips.
- Chill in the refrigerator 3-4 hours, preferably overnight.
