It's party time and you need a delicious but easy appetizer to serve your guests. Look no further, because this is it!
8 oz. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 yellow onion, diced
1/4 t. garlic powder
10 oz. frozen spinach, thawed and drained well, all water squeezed out
1 puff pastry sheet
1 beaten egg, for egg wash
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a large bowl, mix together Monterey Jack cheese, cream cheese, diced onion and garlic powder until fully combined.
Fold in spinach until evenly distributed.
Gently roll out puff pastry; brush both sides with egg wash. Spread spinach mixture over puff pastry dough; roll up into a log and slice.
Place slices on baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, or until puff pastry is golden brown and cheese is melted.
Remove from oven; cool for 5 minutes.
Serve.
