It's party time and time for a great dessert type dip. It's so quick and easy, it will become one of your favorites.
1 c. heavy whipping cream
1 T. espresso powder
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
8 oz. mascarpone cheese
1/2 c. powdered sugar, sifted
1 t. pure vanilla extract
2 t. unsweetened cocoa powder
Ladyfingers, vanilla wafers, or fruit for dipping
Stir cream and espresso powder together in a bowl until dissolved.
In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add mascarpone cheese; beat until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract; beat on low speed using an electric mixer until well mixed. Add heavy cream and espresso mixture; increase speed to High; beat until soft peaks form. DO NOT over beat.
Place in a serving bowl; sprinkle cocoa powder from a very small, fine mesh strainer.
Serve with Ladyfingers, vanilla wafers or fruit. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
