Soup lovers, you will fall in love with this easy to prepare soup. It's full of ground beef, macaroni, tomatoes and sweet and savory herbs and spices. The family will beg you to put it on your recipe rotation.
1 lb. ground beef
2 t. onion powder
3 t. minced garlic
4 - 14.5 oz. cans beef broth/stock
2 - 28 oz. cans chopped tomatoes
½ c. ketchup
2 T. Worcestershire Sauce
2 T. brown sugar, optional
1 t. Italian seasoning
2 c. dry macaroni
garlic salt and garlic pepper, to taste
cheddar cheese, if desired
In a large stock pot, add ground beef, garlic and onion powder; cook until meat is no longer pink. Drain off and discard the grease.
Add broth/stock, chopped tomatoes, Worcestershire Sauce, brown sugar, if using, ketchup and Italian seasoning.
Bring to a boil; simmer for 8-10 minutes.
Add the dry macaroni; cook for 15 minutes.
Serve, topped with cheddar cheese, if desired.
