Casseroles are loved because they are simple to prepare and usually are made with just a few ingredients. With some canned biscuits, marinara/spaghetti sauce, cheese and frozen meatballs, you can serve your family a great meal without a lot of fuss.
Ingredients
- 16.3 oz. can Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Homestyle refrigerated original biscuits
- 16 oz. bag frozen cooked Italian meatballs
- 1 green bell pepper, diced and sautéed
- 3 c. marinara/spaghetti sauce
- 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Italian cheese blend
- grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil, if desired for serving
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Separate dough into 8 biscuits; cut each biscuit into 6 pieces; place in large bowl. Add meatballs, sautéed bell pepper and marinara sauce; stir until well coated. Pour into an un-greased 13 x 9 inch (3 qt.) glass baking dish. Sprinkle Italian cheese blend over top.
- Bake 35 minutes or until biscuit pieces are puffy and cheese is melted and golden brown.
