This quick and easy pork chop recipe will definitely become one that you add to your recipe rotation. The bone-in thick chops keep them nice and juicy with less tendency to overcook. They are made in a sweet and savory sauce that is fantastic when served
Ingredients
- 4 bone in pork chops, 1 inch thick*
- 2 t. olive oil
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 T. butter
- 2 t. minced garlic
- 3 T. brown sugar
- 1 t. Italian seasoning or equal parts dried oregano, basil and thyme
- 1 T. chopped parsley
- lemon wedges and parsley sprigs, for garnish
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper, to taste; add to skillet in a single layer; cook 5-6 minutes per side or until browned; remove from skillet; place on a plate. Cover with foil to keep warm.
